Who we are

Restore Balance Therapy offers individual and group therapy in Atlanta, GA. Kristen and Carrie started the practice in 2019 after years working on inpatient and outpatient units in mental health hospitals. We decided on the name because so often life feels off balance, and chaotic. We would like to help you by take a holistic approach to restore balance, happiness, or sense of self. We believe that therapy is not always about changing what is wrong, but finding what is right.

Our clinicians specialize in trauma, LGBTQIA, kink, BDSM, anxiety, depression, substance abuse and mood disorders.

You don't have to face your diagnosis alone

If you were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder as an adult, you'll have a reliable support system at Restore Balance Therapy. We offer autism evaluations for individuals who were misdiagnosed or diagnosed later in life.

During your Comprehensive Autism Evaluation, we'll help you determine how your autism diagnosis could be impacting your work performance, emotional functioning and relationships. If you need a confirmatory diagnosis for medication management, don't hesitate to ask.

We also provide Autism Computer Screenings. This option is typically requested by a prescriber, but you can also take it to learn more about your diagnosis.
