A Neurodivergent-Affirming Approach
At Restore Balance, our evaluators are neurodivergent—and so is our approach.
We don’t define ADHD by deficits. Instead, we explore how your brain works, where you thrive, and where you need support. We recognize that ADHD looks different across race, gender, and lived experience. That’s why we use affirming language, non-pathologizing assessments, and a collaborative evaluation process that empowers you—not labels you.
We believe understanding your neurotype can be life-changing. Let us help you get there.
What is the MIGDAS-2?
The MIGDAS-2 (Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing Autism) is a neurodivergent-affirming diagnostic tool that uses a sensory-based, conversational approach rather than rigid testing.
This method allows us to:
Capture nuanced, real-world experiences
Recognize masked or less visible traits
Create a detailed behavioral profile beyond standard scoring
It’s especially effective for identifying autism in individuals who may have been previously overlooked.
